Champions Academy is Back!

We are thrilled to announce that the Excel Community Association of Alamance has been awarded the prestigious 21st Century Community Learning Center grant! This incredible funding allows us to offer our Champions Academy Afterschool and Summer Camp Enrichment Program absolutely FREE to eligible families.

The Champions Academy is dedicated to supporting elementary students from underperforming Title 1 schools, providing them with homework assistance, tutoring, and remedial educational support. But that's not all! Our program also includes a wide array of enriching activities such as STEM projects, art, dance, healthy eating, horticulture, music, and much more.

With this grant, we can continue to make a meaningful impact on our community, helping students not only succeed academically but also develop socially and emotionally.

We are immensely grateful for the support from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and the federal government. This grant is a testament to our commitment to excellence and the positive change we strive to bring to the lives of Alamance County residents.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Champions Academy Afterschool and Summer Camp Enrichment Program, and how you can get involved or support our mission.

Thank you for being part of our journey as we continue "Changing the lives of Alamance County residents by providing community-based programs of excellence."
